The TAMA Marching snare in standard Birch/Bubinga (B/B) hybrid shell. The B/B shell provide a sharp, aggressive attack as well a well rounded mid to low range.

Delivering groundbreaking new technology, TAMA’s patented “Buzz Killer Mutes” and “Detachable Gut Frame” give the player maximum control of sound options with quick, easy adjustments. The Detachable Gut Frame can be removed from the drum in 2-3 seconds allowing for ultra-quick head changes. The guts can even be tuned while removed from the drum.

The TAMA marching snare strainer is located near the top of the drum within easy reach while using the carrier. This lever is very stable and operates smoothly when switching from snare to tenor sound. The High Position Strainer also has built-in safeguards to prevent over adjusting the vertical position of the guts.

The TAMA original gut frame features individually adjustable/removable guts to create your own sound. All guts can be adjusted at once using the buttery-smooth tension adjustment knob.

The TAMA bass drums in Birch/Bubinga B/B shells (5 outer plies of birch and 3 inner plies of Bubinga). The B/B shells create a powerful low end with excellent articulation that works great for both outdoor and indoor use.

Lightweight aluminum die-cast lugs and 6 mm diameter tension rods deliver the strength and durability needed for high pitch tuning.

The TAMA “Noiseless Carrier Attachment” completely eliminates the space between the drum and carrier and securely locks the carrier to the drum. This allows the drum to fit the player’s body enhancing stability and playability.

Bass Drums are available in the following sizes: 14″,16″,18″,20″,22″,24″,26″,28″. All bass drum size depths are 14″

TAMA’s Tenor Drums offer a wide range of adjustments to accommodate different body types. After all, reach is an important factor in playing tenors and every performer doesn’t have the same length arms. Using a simple drum key, these drums can be easily repositioned and locked down for maximum comfort and ease of movement. The light weight of these drums is a feature all tenor drummers are sure to appreciate.

The Tenor drums will be offered in B/B (4 outer plies of birch and 3 inner plies of Bubinga) as well as an optional 6-ply Maple. The B/B shells provide a sharp, aggressive attack with rich resonance creating a completely new sound never heard on the marching field. The Maple drums are sensitive to the player’s command while showcasing the classic warmth found in this wood.

Both shell types feature reinforcement rings for strength and durability needed with today’s high pitch tuning requirements.

TDP7S 7″ Practice Pad “Buzz Maker”

The 7” Practice Pad is the ultimate in portability and provides players with a wealth of sound. The top surface, made of an elastic material, provides a quieter sound while the bottom surface utilizes harder material for a louder sound. This makes the pad perfect for any practice situation. In addition, the snappy snare sound can be easily turned on and off by turning over the built-in plate.

TDP12 12″ Practice Pad “Mentor”

The 12” Practice Pad is made especially for marching band players. Aligning both arms within the pattern on the top surface, in the ready position, allows players to check their basic form while playing. In addition, the sound of the center of the pad differs with that of the other areas so that players can correct their form during practice. The sound-muffling urethane pad at the bottom also lets drummers modify the sound according to the practice environment.
